Proverbs 25:4
- December 2, 2025
The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. - KJV
Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. - KJV
Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. - KJV
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. - KJV
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - KJV
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. - KJV
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. - KJV
For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. - KJV
So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. - KJV
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. - KJV
By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. - KJV
My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: - KJV
She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. - KJV
The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. - KJV
She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. - KJV
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. - KJV
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. - KJV
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. - KJV
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: - KJV
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - KJV
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: - KJV
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. - KJV
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. - KJV
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. - KJV
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - KJV
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. - KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. - KJV
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. - KJV
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: - KJV
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: - KJV
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. - KJV
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: - KJV
Give us this day our daily bread. - KJV
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. - KJV
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. - KJV
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. - KJV
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. - KJV
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. - KJV
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: - KJV
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. - KJV
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
